The Guild of Real Estate Entrepreneurs and Professionals Inc. (GREENPRO) is a non-stock non-profit association of professionals and practitioners recognized for their expertise in the property industry of the Philippines.
GREENPRO is envisioned as “the association of professionals and practitioners in the Philippine property industry who collectively represent a full spectrum of backgrounds and expertise, from project conceptualization to property management.” The members represent the residential, commercial, industrial, leisure, and hospitality sectors in the areas of property development, investment, finance, construction, architecture, interior design, marketing, agency, sales, management, operations, property management, consultancy, advocacy, academe, and governance.
Outside work, many of us are involved in our communities, serve as volunteers, lend advice as members of company boards, and are involved in professional and civic associations.
September 12, 2015 – The idea of creating GREENPRO is hatched at a planning session held by its Founding Trustees at The Mills Country Club, Carmeltown, Canlubang, Laguna. Originally organized in 1975 as an informal circle, GREENPRO was formally registered on March 16, 2016 with the Securities and Exchange Commission, having evolved into a group of highly select real estate entrepreneurs, professionals and senior managers representing diverse property sectors and a wide range of backgrounds and expertise.

To make a change, the GREENPRO way.
During the Board meeting held on August 11, 2021, one of the matters for discussion was the initial plan for the GREENPRO Christmas Party, which was being spearheaded by Fellowship Committee Chair Billy Dominguez. While discussing plans for the party, the Board also talked about the creation of the GREENPRO Glee Club, and for the latter to maybe make a debut performance during the party. It was further explored that perhaps during the glee club’s maiden performance, they could sing and launch the GREENPRO hymn. It was an ambitious yet exciting thought at that time which was indeed high-reaching given that there was no hymn yet.
At this point, Vice President Chito Zaldarriaga told the Board that Trustee Raoul Creencia had once composed the jubilee song for San Beda College of Law’s alumni homecoming. As it happens, Trustee Raoul also wrote the hymn for the Office of the Government Corporate Counsel (OGCC), which he once headed. It was then that the Board prodded Trustee Raoul to compose a hymn for GREENPRO.
A couple of days later, Trustee Raoul spent one night writing the lyrics, while simultaneously weaving the music which he thought would melodically capture and carry the essence of GREENPRO as a unique association. The following morning, with the first draft of the hymn already available, the lyrics was sent to the members of the Board for comments. President Kat Yatco suggested that GREENPRO’s being “diverse but all embracing” be underscored, and that the association’s putting premium on friendship and fellowship be emphasized as well. After incorporating the suggestions made, the final version was eventually completed at around 1:15AM of August 18. In the Board meeting of September 2021, Trustee Creencia presented the song acapella.
The still raging pandemic at that time made the creation of the Glee Club challenging and it had to be deferred. Hence, instead of having the Glee Club record the song, Trustee Raoul had another group do it. During the Board meeting in November 2021, the Board heard the recorded version of the song, and with a visual presentation to complement it, the GREENPRO HYMN was finally launched during the Christmas Party on December 4, 2021. Since then, it has become a staple feature in our General Membership Meetings, underpinning the Association’s unique identity and the general membership’s collective pride.
